FAITH FORMATION

The aim of our Catholic faith formation program is to lead the young people of our parish into a relationship with Jesus.

We have strived to develop age-specific programs to enhance our youth's understanding of what it means to be a Catholic and encourage their understanding of our church as a "community."

PRE-SCHOOL, KINDERGARTEN & Grade 1. We offer a great opportunity for your pre-school toddlers (ages 3-5) to learn about praise during Mass on Sundays. Kindergarten & Grade 1 students are offered faith curriculum before Mass at 9:30 AM. We strive to teach the Sunday scripture to your children at a level they can easily understand. Classes are hosted October-May.

GRADES 1-6. We are blessed to have created a partnership with the Nevis school district so that your children can learn about Jesus' love as we bring them together during Catholic Release Time (CRT) on Wednesday afternoons (Oct-May).

Grades 3 & 4: 12 noon to 1 pm

Grades 5 & 6: 1 to 2 pm

Grades 1 & 2: 2 to 3 pm

JUNIOR HIGH & HIGH SCHOOL. Along with encouraging the participation in faithful prayer and continued reflection of our committed and active Catholic faith, we strive to develop social activities to strengthen interpersonal communication skills and social behaviors so that these young people can become good members of our church.

Grades 7-8-9 : 6 to 7:30 pm

Grades 10-11-12: 6 to 7:30 pm

2010 Schedule: 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28

We ask for volunteers to bring dinner each week to serve

our Junior High and High School students from 6-6:20 pm.
